I am a fine-art photographer and art lover. I was born in 1979 in Cheb, Czechia, but since 2011 I have been living in France. I started taking photos in 2002 with an analog camera and I developed the photos and negatives myself in the darkroom. Since 2014, I have been photographing exclusively with a digital camera. In my artistic work I focus on three photographic themes: nude / portrait / abstract.
My photos are classical and old-fashioned.. taken without any computer or photoshop tricks, photo manipulations, AI or anything of that sort. My art-work is the result of optical illusion, reflection, play of lights, props and decorative accessories.
All my photos are taken in a RAW digital format.. subsequently processed in a basic Raw program where only brightness and contrast are finely edited (just like in a darkroom for analog photography).. then they are converted to JPG format.. and finally printed on a high-quality Hahnemuhle baryta photo-paper.
Always black and white and always photographed vertically.. with a strong artistic impression.. decorative, poetic, imaginative and slightly surreal.. that's exactly how I love it!
